  1. If el neney is still there next season I'll personally come to England and protest he's a loving guy but is time to move on…..also we have UCL and other competitions to go for do you really think patino could vome in this team and drive us forward??? Partey is not getting younger bro we need a party replacement and slowly develop patino

  2. Pepe – £25m
    Nuno – £20m
    Lokonga – £20m
    Ainsley – £15m
    Rob Holding – £15m
    Mari – £7.5m

Not even including fringe players + youth prospects (Biereth, Trusty etc)

Can easily raise over 100m in player sales this summer

  3. Thank you Tom you have helped following Arsenal one of the most wonderful moments in my life, your insight is fantastic l really enjoy it. You have made me more of a Arsenal fan than ever before. I followed Arteta as l have always admired him as a player and coach. I had faith in his ability and he has smashed the ceiling on this one. But you my friend have made listening to you on your views a total Joy. Thank you once again and up the Arsenal

  4. Thought everyone on the continent is hard up for money cause I don't see us getting the money people think we will unless English teams buy our players.

  5. I think we could make around 100m on sales this summer.
    15m Tavares, 15-20m Pepe
15m Holding, 10m AMN, 20-40m Balogun, 30-40m Tierney and there are still players like Runnarsson, Trusty, Lokonga, and Mari.

  6. We have a history of not selling well. I will be pessimistic until we have better results. Edu can make it happen, but until he does, I will be skeptical…

  7. Once Dortmund comes to the table it was automatically going to be very difficult to get him. Why? Because he’s so young and they’re well known for developing talents at that age. I knew this all along :(.

  8. Rice is not worth 80-100 it’s English tax. He was bottled by the U.S. that showed only his defensive ability with little to no progression forward. He is better progressively with his club but… I’d rather 25-35 million player that is more attack minded with the same defensive abilities. If you could get rice for 55-65 then yes. Making him the highest ever transfer would be ludicrous especially considering the makeup of the team and the position he plays.

  9. If I was you I wouldn't bother with tactical breakdowns of players till they are actual Arsenal players. I very much enjoyed the tactical breakdowns of Trossard and Kiwior knowing they were joining us

  10. I'm sure there's a good reason why you chose 8am for your transfer talk show and I'm making this suggestion completely out of ignorance of this good reason. I've noticed nothing substantial happens in the transfer market before 8am so if you moved your time when it is mostly likely that some news would've broke you wouldn't be chasing your clock tails. That aside, I'm a massive fan of your work, I listen to your podcast on Spotify everyday and love it!

  11. England midfield absolutely had no answer for McKennie in the WC — US could have won 2-0 if he'd been anywhere near in form, missed 2 point blank chances.

  12. From the news:
Uefa is to change its Financial Fair Play rules in response to Chelsea's recent trend of signing players on long-term contracts.

Signing players on extended contracts enables Chelsea to spread the player's transfer fee over the life of that deal when submitting their annual accounts.

That means £89m signing Mykhailo Mudryk will be valued at £11m a year over his eight-and-a-half-year deal.

Uefa is to set a five-year limit over which a transfer fee can be spread.

Clubs will still be able to offer longer deals under UK regulations but will not be able to stretch transfer fees beyond the first five years.

The change to FFP rules will come into force during the summer and will not apply retrospectively.

  13. When my OG, Arsenal, friends (we all started supporting Arsenal pre-Wanger ) are having a whiskey after an Gooners win and we’re talking gooner finances. I always argue that wages saved from players, who leave on a free should be counted towards player sales -what do you think?
