Cristiano Ronaldo opened the scoring for Al-Nassr as the Saudi Pro League side eased to a 4-0 victory against struggling Al-Raed on Friday.
The 38-year-old gave his side the lead after just three minutes when his cushioned header found the bottom corner from a Sultan Al Ghannam cross.
Abdulrahman Ghareeb doubled their advantage 10 minutes after the break, slamming home from close range.
Ronaldo saw a penalty appeal waved away, and squandered a glorious chance for his second, before substitutes Mohammed Maran and Abdulmajeed Al Sulaiheem (who’s 25-yard curling effort was the best of the night) wrapped up a comfortable win late on.
The win means Al-Nassr reduce the gap to leaders Al-Ittihad to three points, and have now played a game more (25) than their title-chasing rivals who have played 24 of the season’s 30 league fixtures.
Al-Raed stay 11th in the standings.
