Lewandowski began his professional career in 2006 with Znicz Pruszków, a lower-league Polish club. He then moved to Lech Poznań in 2008, where he won the Ekstraklasa (Polish top-flight) title in the 2009-10 season.
In 2010, Lewandowski joined Borussia Dortmund, where he enjoyed enormous success. He helped Dortmund win two Bundesliga titles, one DFB-Pokal, and reach the final of the UEFA Champions League in 2013.
In 2014, Lewandowski joined Bayern Munich, where he has won numerous titles, including seven Bundesliga titles, five DFB-Pokals, and one Champions League.
During the 2019-20 season, Lewandowski helped Bayern Munich win the treble (Bundesliga, DFB-Pokal, and Champions League). He scored 55 goals in 47 appearances in all competitions that season.
Lewandowski has won numerous individual awards throughout his career, including the FIFA Best Men’s Player award in 2020, the UEFA Men’s Player of the Year award in 2020, and the Ballon d’Or in 2021.
He has also won the Bundesliga Top Scorer award a record-breaking six times and was the top scorer in the UEFA Champions League for two consecutive seasons (2019-20 and 2020-21).
In addition, Lewandowski has been named to the UEFA Champions League Squad of the Season six times and the FIFPro World XI four times.
