      I agree with Alemany on not renewing the veterans like Roberto , Alba and Busi . Nostalgia won't win you trophies . Messi is an exception as he will solve the creativity issue that we have in the mid !! But we do need to think long term !! Also it will be foolish to sell Raphinha considering how injury prone Dembele is

      If Alemany wanted not to renew the veterans, also against bringing messi back to the club, and relying and investing on young players then I agree 100% with him. But I will want the board should arrange an exclusive farewell to messi. Although knowing the astronomical offers from Aston villa to Alemany no way we can match that.

      A big fee for Raphinha looks very attracting, even though it would be unfair to him, I mean the guy idolizes Ronaldinho and wanted so much this move because of him. But on the other hand, bayern are actually looking to offload Gnabry and if we could get 100M for Raphinha and 60-65 of that on Gnabry (who can play on both wings) that would be a very ideal scenario for Barca! It could even leave some cash for a quality RB

      You have to understand Alemany… we can’t be selling players for Messi… yes, he’s a Legend.. Yes we all want him back, but if that means losing Ralph, Alemany, and possibly other youngsters, personally, I don’t want it.. perhaps we should move on.

      I would let Raphinha go in my first opportunity and if I can profit evev better.
      He works hard and sacrifices a lot, but he lacks the quality to be a Barsa player.
      His contribution in front of the goal is minimal. Yes, he has scored goals and provided a few assists, but he does lose too many possessions and is not a threat to the opposite team. Any game is the same, but take a look at the last game vs Real Madrid. I believe we lost because of him and Lewa’s poor performance in front of the goal.

      100% agree with Alemany, and from what I’ve seen during games, I’m certain it was Xavi who wants to renew these veterans, as well as keeping Alonso. He rarely ever plays young players
