Dion Dublin feels that the officials’ decision to rule out Phillipe Coutinho’s goal is a huge mistake and one that they will be embarrassed about as Aston Villa drew 1-1 with Manchester City.

This is just a case of human error and the rules of the game. The whistle was blown, nothing can be done 🤷♂. Sure, as an Arsenal fan, I would love to see Man City drop points because of this. But there has been countless times that the ball has ended up in the net after the whistle had been blown, it's just one of those things. What are we gonna do, take whistles away from refs? Lose linesmans altogether? The Man City team stopped as well because they heard the whistle, things might have been different if they didn't.
It’s not VAR. It’s the people using it.
These pundits are moaning but I remember last season too when the linesmen were told to keep their flags down when there's a chance & then VAR will review the decision after but they were moaning then too that players could get injured whilst letting the play go on. It was fine as it was last season imo. Still, it's an awful decision for a supposedly top-level official.
How did VAR not see that !!! Man City so lucky 🍀. First the handball against Everton last season now this crazy !!!
Oil City paying officials it seems, should’ve been a goal.
West Ham and villa both robbed today
Varchester city
What is going on with match officals, they just do not know what they are doing, even with VAR they are still making huge mistakes. How can officals get an off side wrong.
2 games 2 goal on the same day disallowed for no real reason the West Ham goal is a goal the villa goal is a goal simple typical big 6 biased
Terrible referee, He should of booked Coutinho for kicking the ball away after the whistle went. Aston Villa paying the refs again?
Sky sports are a joke .
City players downed tools so he wouldn't have scored
That reff LITERALLY SHOULD BE FINED OR SACKED
Oil bought referees, ruined by
them.
why don't we Storm the Referees Houses boot the door Down and Tie them all up
1:54 is he trying to say you can't be offside from a backwards pass? Pretty sure that's not the rule
They don’t even know the rules they can be offside if the ball ain’t played forwards
Same thing happened to Leeds united today aswell
The official who held his flag early should be scrutinised
Once again the standard of refereeing in this country is disgusting, most of the Premier League referees in this country are old and fat. Look at the continental refs, at least they not lugging round beer guts on the pitch.
This and the West Ham disallowed goal some of decision today where ridiculous we need to sacked all the Referee and bring in foreign referee who know to how to manage a game
