Gundogan will be a bench player if he goes to Barcelona because Barcelona has a lot of young players in the midfield. Their midfield players are just like Chelsea wingers. So he might just want on his resume that he played for Barcelona in his life time.

I wish City fans wouldn`t fall for the red media bollocks. All season they`ve claimed that Haaland was on his way to R Madrid as early as next season despite him just arriving this. After flogging this dead horse they`ve changed tack claiming a "new" contract is about to be signed scrubbing the "clause". Correct me if I`m wrong but he`s just signed a new contract (only a matter of months ago) which he was perfectly willing to do. The same media that have claimed Pep was on his way at the end of the season for the last FIVE years.
They are so desperate for the demise of the club they print any old shite. It's the toughest most-watched league in the World, to stay in pole position you need to be 100% right on the field and 100% off the field. The right team as players, the right team as coaches and the right team for financial development. Less than 100% in any one of them and you can drop like a stone rapidly like Chelsea and Liverpool. Poor old Raheem Sterling has been thrown under a bus ending up at Chelsea.
Why would Pep or Erling go to another club? Yes the release clause has gone so Erling must have assurances Pep is hanging around. Pep feels comfortable at City, you can see it in his body-language. He loves the privacy at the Academy and values it. He has backers in Txixi and Ferran and many more.
