Seattle Sounders right back DeAndre Yedlin is young and talented, but should Jurgen Klinsmann pick him for the World Cup? Will he end up taking teammate Brad Evans’ spot?

  1. Yedlin is that hidden card you don't want your opponents to know about. USMNT should not be afraid to take risks. You don't move forward without taking risks. Yedlin might be the quickest defender of them all.

  2. Yedlin can dramatically impact our attack more so than Evans. His abilities on the field brings more flexibility to the squad. Can't wait to see him with the US kit on.

  3. So yedlin would defend against the left wingers on Germany and Portugal… Lets see… We've got reus… Some guy named Ronaldo…. Yeah, I'm comfortable with yedlin defending those guys 🙂

  4. I think that when it comes to the future of the USMNT, I would rather see Yedlin go to Brazil so he can get the experience of being part of a World Cup squad. Granted, like any prospect: Green, Brooks, Yedlin, etc. there is no guarantee they will reach their full playing potential anyways.

However, having a couple of our younger players be part of a team with Donovan and Bradley is invaluable and I would really like to see the 3 players I mentioned above make the cut. USMNT always needs to be getting better.

  5. Take both not edu Id love to see yedlin in the World Cup he is a hard worker and he is also very young take him don't see him playing but what an honor it would be if kilnsman took him:)

  6. Yedlin would be great for team USA and his speed would help him defend against the likes of Reus and Ronaldo who destroy even the best defenders in the world. So giving Yedlin experience against that quality will only make him better and this will help the US become better in the future and allow the US to advance further in future world cups.
