Tonight's game just confirmed to me that FIFA need to bring in a stop the clock system to get rid of this blatant time wasting.
If the ball goes out for a goal kick, or corner you have 15 seconds to take it. After the 15 seconds is up, the clock is stopped. Whenever there's a foul, stop the clock until the play is resumed.
In injury time at end of both halves, the clock is stopped whenever the ball is not in play.
Something has to be done because it's an absolute disgrace the way it is right now.
