Dude.. can you fucking not bite your nails, literally just wait til after you film a podcast
People acting like Pep's disagreement with players have always been good for him, when in reality… early in his career, Etoo got his revenge story back with Inter vs Barca.
Is this callux's dad? π
I emphatise with Cancelo.
Mentally, it's brutal to recover from being robbed and assaulted by 4 men at home with your family.
Trauma, in men, often manifests in irrationality, irritability and anger…
Good luck to him. I hope he'd find peace soon and produce beautiful football again.
I'm starting to have visions of Jose Mourinho. Comes to a club, has success, loses the dressing room then gets the sack. Not suggesting Pep will be sacked (by his Spanish compatriot), but he needs to learn how to manage individuals and not merely spit the dummy every time one of them is not happy. Cancelo is a very good player and, with guidance, would have returned to form. He will be a great success at Bayern. I'm also very worried that we seem to be making a habit of letting players go at the end of the Transfer Window with no replacement being acquired immediately following (or, God forbid before) the sale of players. I get the impression there are quite a few disillusioned players at City. There was talk of Silva wanting to go to Barcelona and now there is talk of Gundogan wanting to go. Kyle Walker is apparently next to go. Our purchases have been average, to say the least. I said before the start of the season that City will not make the top 2 and I am increasingly thinking this. I'm not convinced Haaland is the miracle man that all think. His acquisition has forced City to change its playing structure from that used in years of success and I don't understand why we would want to do that.
I don't think his style and technical attributes fit who's playing on the wing, gone are the days when he had Sterling or Gabby to dominate and draw players out. Either way despite whatever attitude the media and so call insiders think he has I still believe him and Sterling ball game and knowledge of how Pep play will be a miss. i am not saying we will suffer but its hhmm I guess part of the change in style. We just gotta be careful, a lot of top teams excluding Arsenal are off it at the moment. Liverpool, is off Chelasea is off but I think will be a force to reckon with with all that money and talented player they bought, and Man United are already catching up very fast and actually plays better than us except for that game against Arsenal
Cancelo has had a strange season. He's the best player on the Portugal squad and the best leftback in the Premier League, but somehow he couldn't get a game for club or country. I'm thinking he must be a nightmare character behind the scenes for both his managers to be eager to bench him after a slight drop in form. Usually players of his caliber are treated with patience by top managers because as the saying goes, "form is temporary but class is permanent."
Real players know the reason why Joao got dropped. Hint. It has something to do with Grealish.
Well you can't play like shit every fucking week and be unhappy when they drop you. He's a brilliant player but that logic is just stupid.
If you ask me people quoting him best LB/RB then people need to understand what aspect of game they are talking about. In terms of attacking Jao is no wonder very good one of the best LB/RB at the back going up front but in terms of defending I'm not too sure if he is that good. But I'm not saying it's entirely about football reasons and the city had no reasons to sell him because that position was covered anyway regardless of his form but actually it's a Mix of different things about him being inconsistent for the last 10 games and his unwillingness to wait and improve and both players, agent and club decided if he is not feeling it then he should go somewhere else and as per city protocol they don't keep players who are unhappy. Obviously it's a loss in attacking assets for the city which City believe they can manage. But they would not be too concerned at the back because he was an average asset in terms of defending and they have cover who can do better in terms of defending. So I understand the decision. As a follower I somehow believe something is cooking for next summer's transfer window. I personally believe no. 8 and the speedster winger is on our way. I think that's the missing piece
I'm not a City fan or a Pep hater…I think he's a master at what he does. But I also think that no manager is infallible. Even the best can make bad decisions.
Whether or not this harms City going fwd…I would say this was a bad decision by Pep. Calcelo is an an absolute class player and could cover both flanks. If his attitude was failing its Peps job to solve that…not just offload him.
Just my opinion…I'm not Pep and I'm nowhere near his quality of manager.
There is NO WAY this is not a BIG MISTAKE from Pep!
Robbed and assaulted in his own home
A much needed change of scenery for the guy
Painful to listen to these three. Couldnt do 2 min.
Donβt bite your fingernails on camera! π
You'll never see Sam Lee and Harry Maguire in the same room…
To be honest, everytime that Cancelo started this season,I was worried that he would make a defensive error again and cost us the match.
Is he going to throw tantrum when Bayern bench him when he's underperforming? He's a big baby. No one is a guaranteed starter in City.
All these issues with fullbacks at city. Common denominator is Pep
Man City must be nuts to let Cancelo go and there is more to this story, which we are not hearing.
In his debut for us, he was brilliant and just what we needed back there to steady the ship.
Roman Abramovich, in the middle, is thinking about the ways to buy back Chelsea.
Come back πππ
Why is Mark Chapman looking like Roman Abrahamovich
I think this is to do with his personal life and family.
Cancelo's entire career has been like that. He tends to give his best at the beginning of his spell with each club then becomes a problem child who clashes with managers. 3 years with Valencia was his longest spell, then they shipped him to Inter who didn't wish to purchase. On to Juventus, where Allegri wanted him out after 9 months or so. City has possibly been the most stable phase of his career.
