The pressure on him is enormous and bigger than any signing ever in Scottish football. He will be expected to score or assist in every game, and even missing one game with injury will cost Rangers 45K per week of lost income for no return with instant resentment. He cant just be good, he will need to be 9 out of 10 on every performance. Other Scottish footballers will hardly welcome a guy who earns 110k net salary per week, he will not enjoy the pace of our game or mixing with guys earning 2 or 3k per week. That said it's a good signing for Scottish football in terms of publicity and of course he rejected offers from lower Premiership sides to go to Rangers proving again the lure and statute of the big 2 clubs in Scotland. I think its more of a psychology move but Robbie Keane, Roy Keane, Laxalt and Bellamy were all similar level Loan signings for Celtic and on each occasion we lost the league despite signing a Galactico. The Scots Rangers players will welcome him, but the foreign players who have been working hard for Rangers of the last 3 years won't necessarily welcome him in the same way. Finally, i am surprised Rangers felt they needed this shot in the arm and is really a compliment to Celtic that you signed a world class player.

As a Rangers/Arsenal man can't believe this deal has happened and I tell ya I've been watching ramseys career from he left arsenal he's been playing for Wales and he's been quality as always. He will boss the midfield in the SPL no doubt. Legend 👏👏👏
