Erik Ten Hag’s Manchester United beat Nottingham Forest 2-0 in the Premier League thanks to great tactics and impressive individual performances from the Red Devils, especially Diogo Dalot. Dalot was deployed as a left-sided Inverted Wing Back and was simply too hot to handle for Steve Cooper’s team.

  1. Hello everynoe, thanks a lot for your patience. Diogo Dalot was AMAZING yesterday and here is why! How about you? What impressed you the most about yesterday's win? Share your thoughts by leaving a comment in the section below. πŸ‘‡

  2. Do you think playing Luke Shaw at right back with Dalot at left back would work?

Aaron Wan-Bissaka underlapping Antony seemed to bring out the best in Senhor Dos Santos.

  3. Antony is improving & I believe Amad will push to another level. Like how Malacia push Shaw to another level. We have the right manager in ETH who is SAF 2.0. We desperately need the right owners & players. Man Utd will be the unstoppable force again.

  4. What difference between OGS and ETH is that, OGS need player that can play the position that not good enough while ETH instruct his player to play the position , OGS is rigid tactician while ETH is dynamic tactician

  5. 09:36 exactly ❀
Problem is, against bigger team, a right-footed inverted left back like Dalot & I, need support from midfield, preferably a dynamic industrious player who's also able to play one-touch pass..

Trust me, the feeling when I got the ball in that position is incomparable, as if the field is entirely open cuz I can see the defensive lines clearly compared to being limited on the right side of the pitch..😊

  6. I have mentioned many times Dalot is versatile & ambidextrous (similar to Cancelo). Happy to see Ten has found it and using it wisely. In the summer we need a starting Right back while AWB stays as backup. While Dalot and Malacia compete for the LB position. Our CB pairing should be Varane and Matinez or Kim Min Jae and Shaw !!.

  7. Love your analysis. So surprised not many "professional" pundits even picked up how well Dalot played. For me he was the man of the match along with Bruno

  8. I always find your analyses fascinating and once again you have picked up something that most other commentators haven't taken much notice of. It emphasises how deep-thinking a coach Ten Hag is and how he can turn problems into advantages.

  9. Dalot as a left back gives options that could be explored under Ten hag provided we have cover on our right . shaw with lindelof in the center instead of maguire would be a prefered choice with martinez and varane injured so having Dalot as an inverted lb might be a happy revelation till season ends?

  10. ETH loves dynamism in players, he loves players who can play in every position, and he's a coach who is ready to give the player new roles regardless of where suit them better.
I was so perplexed seeing Diogo Dalot play as LB, and he played it like it was his original playing position, same thing goes for luke shaw when he played as a CB.
Above all, I love the team spirit and the way everybody played with their heart.
Not forgetting ever dynamic Bruno, goshhhh the guy is such a joy to watch, the pair of Bruno, Case, and Eriksen was so wonderful.

I have faith that we will come out victorious in our next game against Spanish Europa King Sevilla.
Once again, bro, your Analysis is very outstanding and top-notch keep it up.

  11. Erik Ten Hag's ability to change his tactics to compensate for missing players or to maximize the available player's potential is one of the reasons why i believe in him so much.

  12. In fact, ERIC TEN HAG is RED because any problem we had is a solution for him. Assuming we did not have a defensive problem will he played Dalot as Left Back.

The thing I want now is Ten Hag should stick with him as Left back then replace Martinez with Luke shaw, then play Lindelof along with shaw and Bissaka at Right back ❀

What do you think? @The Scarlet report

  13. We will miss Bruno against Sevilla but hopefully with Ericson running things in midfield and maybe Lindelof paired with Luke Shaw we will do the job.

  14. WE ARE WE STILL SO SHIT? De gea and maguire needs to go if not ten hag might get the sack if he plays them and they make us lose important matches again
