    Why signing Mateo Kovačić permanently is smart.



    Mateo Kovačić divides opinion between football fans.

    But really, he is an excellent footballer, and there are multiple reasons why signing him permanently is a smart move for Chelsea Football Club.

      Initially, I taught Kovacic isn't worth that huge amount .But changed my mind after your analysis.Keep it up Chelsea.

      I would love to see 4-2-3-1 under Lampard. With Kovacic and Kante as CDM.

      While having an attacking minded player for CAM like Barkley, RLC and maybe sign Fekir when transfer ban expires next season.

      We can sell Jorginho next season. Or having him as a subs for Kante

      I think he’s underrated and for 40-45 million in today’s market I think that’s a steal. He used to be pretty good at holding mid and I liked how he would get the ball and his first thought was to get the ball moving forward.

      I think the problem was that he was forced to fit into Sarri's rigid system. Sarri tried to emulate what he did at Napoli rather than finding a way of incorporating the chelsea player's assets. Sarri's Chelsea midfield sometimes felt a bit like a jigsaw where each pieces didn't match. The problem is if you are going to have someone like Jorginho, you need specific midfielders either side of him, like with Pirlo in both AC milan and Juventus. To me, Kovacic is a player who operates in a deeper role, maybe somewhere between CM and CDM. More of a deep-lying playmaker so I don't think you can play both Jorginho and Kovacic in the same team. Sarri realised that and you could see that he started playing Kovacic in that ragista role in the tail end of the season.

      I think if Lampard played a midfield trio of Kovacic, Kante and RLC, that could work nicely. Kante operating in a slightly deeper role, Kovacic supplying the connection between defense and offence and RLC being the more offensive midfielder.

      Kante CDM. (A defensive minded midfielder, solid enough to provide cover for the defense) Kovacic RCM (A defensive playmaker capable of beating the opposing team's press by dribbling or passing. Jorginho only does passing which makes him incomplete for that spot) Loftus-cheek LCM (An attack minded midfield playmaker capable of creating goalscoring chances, assisting goals and scoring goals)

      This is the midfield that should be used used by Lampard IMO.

      I've watched Kovacic for the past few years, and he is an awesome player. Dribbles from deep and is able to create space in the midfield, and very fast. I wish we would've kept him, but maybe Zidane has other plans in mind. He will do well at Chelsea.

      Frank Lampard won't be scared to invert the midfield triangle unlike sarri. Kovacic next to Kante is the engine we need in that area. Not jorginho on an island

      I do agree to a certain extent I just feel this is a transition period for us and exciting one at that. We as fans have been crying out for our youth to be inbeded in and I believe this is a transfer that halts it slightly!!

      I like him so much. When you have a player like kova you win the midfield battle he's ever ready to tackle any nonsense in that middle battle. With him we can't miss hazard ever. When he makes a move kante will always balance our back four. I will love to see more of him playing along side Kante jorginho kovacic. It will be good to start the bloody league with. When we are waiting for the likes of loftus and CHO. I'm happy that lampard will use them well to get the best out of this young bloody squad that he will work with come soon. It will be fire🤭💥🔥🔥🔥🔥. I will be happy to see this line up for the start…….

      He is so underrated, and tbh I was very surprised about his ofensive stats this season, still remember him bangin' goals and Even scoring hat-tricks at Inter playing behind the striker. Hopefully this season will be even better for him, and I'm so happy we bought him 💙

      His acceleration is insane. Like Messi and Hazard. He is more talented than all so called today's wonderkid midfielders like Ceballos, D.olmo, F. Ruiz etc. We (Real Madrid) lost brilliant player. I would have been ok with losing T.kroos than Kovacic he provides defensive balance which R.Madrid needs next season.

      I think Chelsea have never been better equipped of lately than they are at the moment. We have players to play all systems. 4:2:3:1, 4:3:2:1, 4:4:2 flat, 4:4:2 diamond, 3:4:3, 3:5:2. Bakayoko, Kovacic n Drinkwater are the main game changers.

      Those three players will be key to Chelsea success depending on their adaptation this season.
      Georginho can't b written off either but depending on the match situation the latter three will b key to our success in the cases of system twerking considering Loftus cheek wouldn't b available soon enough. Lampard knows the advantage he has over the rest of the coaches.

      Our striking options have no pressure at all n that will work for their good. Am very excited about the coming season, I believe Liverpool have nothing better than us, we've been champions when most of their current players were their, in terms player comparisons the only unique player they have is Chamberlain. Man city are better than us in terms of squad depth n the level of talented players they have otherwise we are Chelsea n that Frank knows so well. U saw the match we gave them last season.

      If we had a chance to sign a player I would go for Sturige or Anautovic from the word go. Sturige is a natural goal scorer n that's what we need currently, I hope Our strikers fit the bill.

      I’m seeing your channel for the first time and this video I have just watched has gained you a new subscriber. I rate Kovacic so highly that I wouldn’t have minded Chelsea buying him even for £50m with or without a transfer ban. I’m not so sure why most fans are fixated on his goal return, which can be worked on, but completely ignore his exceptional football IQ and unique dribbling skills. I’m looking forward to seeing how he develops this season!

      He is underrated player for sure. Real Madrid has made a big mistake selling Mateo. He has dribbling skills, strenght, good defender and gol. Real Madrid need him with Modric. For me he is better than Casemiro and kroos.
