He may or may not be a good choice. If he is though, it's annoying that we could have got him for pennies when we were first linked with him when he was playing in China before Fenerbahรงi.
Could work. May have to be a loan him back for the rest of the season to lower cost and appease Napoli. January should be about de Vrij, Ndicka and Zabarnyi IMHO. Relatively low cost and gettable targets who we can use immediately. Imagine our CB options next year r- Zabarnyi, Romero, c-Min-Jae, de Vrij, l-Davies, Ndicka. Means Adieu to Dier, Sanchez, Tanganga and Lenglet. But, hey, I am not complaining.
If he's the right player, he's the right player, no point in thinking of how cheap we could have signed him for. Besides, he probably pays off himself with the commercial value keeping a grip on the Korean market.

Honestly, the ship has sailed for Spurs. The time to do it was this past summer and the club didn't want him. The player made himself available and the club turned him down. I'm not entirely sure why a player would leave a team challenging for titles to come to Spurs. Conte staying, Kane staying, and UCL next year isn't guaranteed. I don't see it happening.
