      The reduced wages make sense! We don't want players that don't want to earn their wage. This will help us get rid of deadwood in the future too.

      Players cant be mad… they signed the terms of contract, they knew what they were getting into if they didn’t qualify… so its really on them.

      I was keen on having Enreque in charge.. Not sold on Naglesmann..

      If we don’t get Enrique and he goes to tottingham we will definitely live to regret it… I can see us having a few seasons of mid-table madness 😢

      It’s funny. The second Tuchel replaced Nogglesmann everyone wanted him at Chelsea. Then the minute Luis-Enrique’s name arose, people were furious we didn’t hire him ASAP. Pretty sick of hearing how every day’s twist is evidence of the owner’s complete incompetence. Fans are just not made, apparently, to have even the slightest patience or ability to see further in the future than the next fixture. If Bayern fans were like Chelsea fans, they’d be demanding Tuchel be fired for losing 1-4 to City. TT managed to do that without even having a bloated squad or a bunch of new players in the January transfer window or any of the other things that Chelsea fans are now blaming for our form.

      I would be willing to bet that most commenters know very little about Nagelsmann or Enrique when it comes to actual coaching philosophies etc. You know the important stuff.

      To be fair Enrique's demands were ridiculous.
      Still on the shortlist….
      Nagelsmann, although goodness knows why?!
      Roger Schmidt, Benfica.
      Mourinho, Roma and I for one would love to see him back at Chelsea.
      If any Manager knows how to build a Team from scratch, it is him.
      Julen Lopetegui, Sevilla.
      Stefano Pioli, Milan.
      Simone, Atletico Madrid.
      Imanol Alguacil, Real Sociedad.
      NOT on the list, despite what people might think, Pchettino, Alegri, Ancelotti, he will end up in Brazil, Zidane, Raul.

      My concern about Naglesman is his youth and relative lack of experience. I think Chelsea needs a manager who can control the dressing room, which Naglesman reportedly had issues with at Bayern. I think Chelsea need a manager with a lot of gravitas. Rather than looking for a project manager, I would look for a respected, very experienced older manager for a 2-3 year stint heavily focused on paring down the squad.

      Yan… do a survey… people list.. 18 first team players, that would be the basis.. of a first team. Include players coming in.. and one or two.. possible strikers

      Im not exactly a pochettino fan but to be fair his style of play would actually suit the Chelsea squad quite well and he will get the players the fittest they have been in years but im worried it could be Rafa benitez all over again with the fans never really warming to him

      Pochettino is hard to assess. Failing at PSG isn't necessarily a reflection him, as we know the club is unique and extremely difficult to manage. Being out of work for so long is a concern though, why are other clubs avoiding him?

      Luis Enrique has to much character for Boyle and his team, they need someone they can control like Potter so I think Nagelsmann will fail as well

      Luis Enrique apparently laid down some demands, probably to do with interference by the boardroom and input on transfers, which the new owners probably don't like.

      I remember fans shitting on arsenal owners and arteta week in week out and how terrible they are for the club. Now they praising them. I also remember man u fans shitting on the glazers over and over but now that man u winning no talk about the glazer. When chelsea starts winning I hope all you "fans" keep your same energy.       Luis Enrique out then I pray shortlist is Jose mourhino,(he will have work with young players look what he did with Tammy so he won't just sell and the board will convince him) hansi flick and nagelsman should take the job

      I think regardless of who is manager in charge we need to get 10 plus players need to be moved on and trim this squad. In addition we need to add a Striker / One or two creative mids /DM and a goalkeeper who could help us out from corners and stop long shots and play out from the back.
      It's actually better if they take the time about the manager because I believe that with 35 plus players here nothings going to chnage immediately.

      Ps Do remember that Enrique did not do well with Spain in the world cup and is not at level of Klopp or Carlo or Guardiolla.
