With top target Aurelien Tchouameni joining European champions Real Madrid, Liverpool seem to have changed their summer plans, but the statement acquisition of Darwin Nunez doesn’t alter the questions around their midfield. Milner is 35, Henderson 31, and Thiago 30, while Oxlade-Chamberlain and Naby Keita are both permanently injured and out of contract in 2023. So today we’ve suggested Manchester City target Fabian Ruiz, Newcastle’s Bruno Guimaraes, and Leverkusen wonderkid Florian Wirtz as reinforcements for the Reds, digging into their numbers to see how they’d fit Klopp’s system.

Only Ruiz’s suggestion made sense. Bruno’s not gonna be cheap cause he’s just joined, Wirtz is recovering from a ruptured ligament. Too risky for a big money purchase as he’s just signed a new deal.
Wirtz would just shift to Bayern. Newcastle wouldn't even listen offers for Bruno guimareas

Wirtz just signed a contract Extension at Leverkusen and is injured. Meanwhile Guimares is only at Newcastle for 6 months, he will stay for a while. Some better Research should have been done.

Wirtz just signed a new deal, Bruno just signed 6 months ago and Liverpool don't just throw money around. Ruiz aside this was somewhat poor.

Matip took a leap forward last season , before that i would of said is starting place or place at the club was starting get questioned .

Ruiz is the only good suggestion, as a Liverpool fan I would like to see it happen
Fabian Ruiz is a strong shout. Liverpool have been scouting him for 4 years now, originally choosing to sign Naby Keita instead of him, and then Oxlade-Chamberlain instead of him a year later.
We're expecting a 4-2-3-1 this season with Firmino as the 10 behind Nunez. Klopp tested a double pivot many times last season in order to get 4 forwards on the pitch. Firmino should be perfect for that role, very similar to a false 9 but with less pressing and much increased progressive passes and carries. I believe Wirtz won't be fit until at least January with a severe rupture, and likely won't be the same player he was unfortunately. Fabio Carvalho and Harvey Elliott's presence further reduces likelihood of investment in that position.
Liverpool are going to need a Henderson replacement at some point. Bellingham is the main target. Barella is another option but likely not as a Henderson replacement.
A potential option could be moving TAA into midfield, it would definitely be interesting to see since he played there in the academy. They could then get a World Class right back (TAA is a world class rb btw). There’s just loads of options and potential.
Whoever put this list together should find another job. Dreadful, direction less

Nah wait for our first choice Bellingham… then we would hopefully next season have Bellingham, Thiago, Henderson, Fabinho, Jones, Elliott and possibly Keita as our options!

Fabián Ruiz would be interesting. Bruno impossible. Wirtz good but we have so much young talent in those spaces. Bellingham would be the best even if it is a year from now. Rice would be great in a double pivot with fabinho. Rovella,Tonali, and ilic could be really good investments. And tbh moriba could be the upgraded keita
