  1. It’s a shame he’s going. Part of me thinks if he really had what it takes he would stick around and try to fight for his place 🤷‍♂️. Oh well, he gave us some unforgettable moments.

  2. In two and half seasons, Bergwijn leaves the club as a Tottenham legend for Leicester game. Just don’t join an English rival in the future or the fanbase will get his jersey out of the closet and burn it.

  3. It's a stupid decision to sign Bergwijn. Son already plays on the left flank. Spurs do not need another player on left flank. In the same transfer window Bowen is much better fit because he plays on the right, homegrown status, and cost much less than Bergwijn.

  4. Bergwijn had some moments in-game, but so did Ndombele. He never showed enough over the course of a single game, much less a season, to make me want to keep him. He was a super sub at best, but had almost zero chemistry with other players to make it work for a full 90'. Kulu came in and did the opposite. He wanted to help other players first (because he knew they're F-ing good players) and then progress his own game though that, which he did.

  5. A quality player who I believe should have been given more play time. Wouldn't be surprised if he excels at Ajax.

  6. Really sad he is going, feel like he was always on the cusp of greatness but his consistency lacked when he had game time unfortunately

  7. Really gutted seeing him go. I’d rather Lucas go only because Stevie is 5 or 6 years younger but it is what it is. I’ll miss him a lot I think he’s very very talented.

  8. So glad Grandpa got to see the win against Leicester!

Ben, Sim, thanks for this tribute to Stevie B—I’m also sad to see him go but agree it’s for his best.
