I wouldn't be surprised to see him stay at Dortmund.
If he were to go to city, I think it would be best for his development due to the pep factor.

We (liverpool) were never landing him. We have a lower net spend than wolves and everton. Some of our fans thinking we would get him were delusional.

Pat normally comes up with very sensible takes… but the "no midfielder is worth that much" shout is shocking. 130m is a lot, but Bellingham is already truly elite at 19 – you can get 10-15 years service from him, or sell him (probably for a higher fee) in a few years time. I agree that a Liverpool would be better off spending that money on multiple players, but for City or United or a couple of other clubs who need one midfielder… missing piece of the puzzle. Absolutely worth it for any side with the money to secure him
