On today’s Euro Transfer Talk, we take a look at what is going on with Robert Lewandowski – Barcelona remain interested, but Chelsea and PSG are waiting in the wings if it fails, although Bayern Munich are adamant they will not sell. If they do, Bayern are eyeing up Harry Kane and Victor Osimhen as potential replacements, but likely won’t make a move until next summer.

Chelsea are closing in on a deal for Napoli’s Kalidou Koulibaly, whilst the Campania side have already seen Dries Mertens leave this summer – Leeds and Newcastle are vying for the Belgian veteran’s signature.

Then there’s Lucas Paqueta, who has had bids received for him according to the Lyon chairman, amid interest from both Arsenal and Newcastle – but who was it that made the move? Enjoy!

  1. Mertens to Newcastle is actually a pretty good deal for both parties, Mertens gets one last pay check while Newcastle gets the credibility they desperately need.

  2. While Newcastle fans desperately want the Paqueta deal to go ahead to reunite Bruno with his best mate, I don't see why either club would be interested in paying over the odds to make the deal happen this window. It doesn't make sense. It's not a priority position for either club and Lyon will demand a big fee.

  3. Tbh I think koulibaly is a great signing for Chelsea but I feel like you'd need another cb with him because there's no way he fills the rudiger role

  4. Mertens doesn’t fit into the way Newcastle have been conducting transfers at all and there have been no links from any of the usual reliable sources. Be shocked if it happens

  5. Guy's, like yourselves I don't condone online abuse so, in the nicest possible way I have to ask, why do you add to this lunacy of putting up edited pics of players in the kits of teams they're only speculated to be linked with? I find it mind numbing and that is not something I would associate with you guys coz I do like your channel.

  6. Never liked Milan selling him , people were crying about his dribbling and he was played out of spot in attacking role rather than box to box

  7. Koulibaly would be huge for Chelsea. Playing alongside fellow African Mendy, playing next to Silva, he will be fantastic. Hope he comes through.

  8. Is Zac pronouncing Paqueta correctly? He emphasizes and pronunces the u in ue but i thought usually ue just made the soft "eh" sound. So if it was spelled out how I would pronounce it, it would be Paqeta pretty much. Or am I wrong?

  9. 2 pretty obvious errors in the script. Lewa's preferred move being Chelsea, after his preferred move to Barca, literally makes no sense. As did the Mertens part where you say he's not against staying at Napoli, despite turning down a new deal.

Other than that, great content as always guys. Didn't wanna come across as a troll, but just giving some feedback to a couple of easy misses

  10. He wants Newcastle move , not arsenal . Newcastle will be a bigger and better prospect than arsenal very soon , also the other big guns ie top six . Your days ore numbered now like it or not

  11. Barca offering 50m for a 33 year old Lewandowski… He's still the best striker on the planet, but that doesn't mean they have to go for him. Why are they still being so stupid with their money

  12. As a leeds fan I'd be really disappointed with signing Mertens. Just seems really lazy to me. I don't want a 35 year old stopgap on extortionate wages thank you

  13. how will they fit paqueta in this would be a great signing without fabio vieira's arrival how's arteta gonna keep paqueta vieira and odegard happy as 3 good cam's
