If reports of AWB being allowed to leave if EH get Frimpong are true, then i believe it is because Frimpong is an attacking upgrade to AWB and comparing AWB to Dalot, Dalot is more versatile. I wont mind if it is Dalot being allowed to leave seeing the form of AWB recently though but in ETH i trust.

Personally, I’d keep all 5 of Shaw, Frimpong, Dalot, AWB and Malacia. We need squad depth so we can use Shaw in 2 positions, same with Dalot. AWB as a super sub to close games. Frimpong to attack in games and also sometimes as a RW. Give it one season atleast
