I love Mason's attitude and grit, but he's a selfish player. People give him a pass for it for some reason. I'd love to see the stats on his shots that miss the target from outside the 18. It's gotta be 5+ per match. He's the King of putting his hands over his head after another shot that "just missed."
No negative feelings for Mount, Ziech, Puliscic, etc for leaving. They won the biggest silverware in their sport 2 years ago just to get swept aside instead of paid and trusted more. No player loyalty at Chelsea anymore and this season proved it😢

Chelsea is a self inflicted mess by the 3 owners. But even now after all their incompetence, hubris and stupidity they can turn it around. Focus on 4 key positions, 4 top players. A new spine. Obviously a great striker. Sell off as many surplus players as possible, loan them, offer to tear up contracts (pay them off), anything. Tell the owners to stay away from the dressing room and training ground. They are a hindrance. Hope and pray the new manager is not only right for the job but is left to do it without interference from 3 owners who are clearly clueless about the game.
Seems everyone thinks Mason Mount is a world class player. To me he is not a starter for a team that competes for an EPL. Probably need to stop talking about him like he is

Chelsea's problem is that when things aren't going great. They immediately hit the transfer window without giving a few players enough chances to prove themselves. They end up getting players that should be playing first team football, watching from the bench getting no chance for development.
Chelsea also have a fanbase that are far too greedy, like spoilt children. When a player underperforms a season, they immediately want him OUT or a replacement by summer. Look at Liverpool, Arsenal, City, United. Darwizzy hasn't had the best season but he gets his chances and the fans belief in getting himself there. Odegaard wasn't this player a season or two ago, but his been given chances all the way to proving himself as captain. Rashford has been poor for a few seasons, most/some fans wanted him out but managers still gave him the chances because they could see he had the ability and talent to be a big player. Grealish was mocked in the beginning of this season, but Pep stuck with it and now Jack is getting his strides. You need a manager that has HIS players in paper and will get them consistent chances to prove themselves.
