      I know Maddison is a great player but it’s hard to not say he’s not worth 50-60 when Sterling and Jesus went for 50 each with only one year left

      i think a player like Maddison is crucial for Newcastle, someone with flair in midfield and can play on the wing, our weakest position, got 14 less contributions than our whole team and is Prem proven and will weaken a rival, however how he fits is the only problem

      In terms of the creative winger which we do desperately need, there really aren't many are there? Diaby already stating he's not leaving Bayer this summer, it's a tricky one for sure. Plus we could also do with a striker and a more defensive minded CM having lost Hayden who, if unspectacular, was a good squad player to have, can't be playing the same 4 guys Bruno, Shelvey, Joelinton and Willock in the midfield 3 all season

      Maddison been my favorite player for the last 3 years . Ceiling is high and game has so much flair . One of the few attacking mids that are both footed as well . Wanna see him push for a top tier team instead

      James Maddison is too injury prone (quite like the rest of his squad lol), and I majorly agree with the point that a player like Moussa Diaby is better suited for what they need. They could go for Noni Madueke or Cody Gakpo of PSV possibly?

      If they could get Maddison for around the 40 mark then fair enough but at 50 – 60 mill, that's too much. Not sure why they aren't taking a look at Ziyech tbh?

      would love to see newcastle go for Dominik Szoboszlai, such a wounderfull young talent, and they should go for him as soon as posible befor he get to much intreast from bigger teams

      Classic heads not knowing how Newcastle set up with Howe. Saying Maddison would joint Bruno and Shelley in the midfield. Joelinton and Bruno are first on that position. £20m in Newcastle sales??? How is that made up then??
