Let’s be honest here, Haaland had barely played in the league at this point. He’s had another four months of games and another five months at City.
Haaland is harder to stop now than he was before Christmas.

While I enjoyed Mee's insight here, even in that game there were a few occasions where Haaland caught him out. Had he been just a tad more clinical, Ben wouldn't have been able to bring this sort of analysis. Basically I'm saying he got lucky.
Haaland can only be stopped when both centre backs stick to the plan and position. I've seen it done many times in Germany when he went a few games without scoring. He even went a few without scoring in England. One mistake and he's scored a goal and he's more confident and the defenders are more afraid. That's why his goals comes in 2s or more most of the time

I think the biggest underappreciated strength for kdb is how he aims for that split second a defender switches off. It's beautiful play and that's from a gunner 😂😂
