Ahead of our Rainbow Laces fixture against Burnley, men’s defender Conor Coady and and women’s forward Ali Miller sat down to discuss the LGBT community in football, the differences between the men’s and women’s game and how to be an ally to those in the community.

  1. Wow the comments section is depressing… Can't believe people want to stop supporting a club because of them being forward-thinking and open… Football fans really are 90% bigots, sad…

  2. Soy fan del fútbol y los Wolves… Pero no comparto esa filosofía… No me gustan los marifores batimas o tralalailas… Mandenselo a los Talibanes para que los arreglen

  3. so glad to have someone like conor as the captain.. he has the ability to make everyone around him feel comfortable and it seems like it would be so easy to speak to him

  4. Good riddance to all the homophobic tw*ts… Wolves thank you for always being supportive of all groups and cultures 💪

  5. What a trash comment section.
Imagine being so homophobic and transphobic, that people trying to respect and value people equally on a fundamental level as other Humans who already have privileges over them offends you.
This is bigger than football, this is life, this is the desire for a better future and a future in-which everyone is treated FAIRLY in, and it upsets you, this concept of people not being oppressed.
Imagine being so offended by this that you complain, and say you're gonna unsubsribe.
Some truly clueless, thin-skinned and immoral people in this comment section.
A football player speaking about this is exactly the point – anybody and everybody should understand the harm they're causing with their views and words, and want change, as our society is very very flawed.
Like l said – bigger than football.
Football is a sport, life is literally everything including the sport and anything else imaginable, and this is about respecting and valuing LIFE.
Go ahead – unsubscribe. They evidently don't want your phobic kind supporting them.
Why would a football club showing decency, want fans who can't afford any decency at all?
Imagine being so offended by the concept of treating all Humans like Humans, fairly.
    Ignorance is a dangerous weapon.

P.S : the spam makes this comments section worse.

  7. No “out” gay men in English football.

Good conversation in general about acceptance of gay people in sports. We must end that discrimination.

Time to separate sexuality and gender identity advocacy – these are two very different issues. There is no single “LGBT Community”.

Woman don’t want men identifying into their sports. Everyone should play in the sex category according to their biological sex, for the safety, privacy, dignity and integrity of women and girls in sport. The IOC recent pronouncement on men identifying into women’s sports is a joke.

Stop force teaming gay and trans.

  8. There are gay men in football, there are no out gay men in football. Thank you for this Wolves. I wish I there had been something to see like this when I was growing up. My options were to live unhappily in the closet and take my life or face my fears and come out. I came out, I’m so loved and happily married to my wife, my family and friends all support us, I was lucky. This video is everything!

  9. Can’t believe the amount of negative comments about this content; it’s so important to build a good environment for not only footballers but everyone to feel better about coming out.

  10. The major issues to come are all the Religious groups against LGBT. Especially with more and more teams owned by Middle Eastern companies and huge broadcasting deals in the middle east. (There was a scandal this week on Bein sport an ex player pundit speaking against Rainbow laces live on air). What if a middle eastern owned club boycotts the premier league and ends up destroying a famous club over LGBT?
