Gareth Roberts and Craig Hannan are getting out and about in Liverpool for today’s Talking Reds, visiting the Art Of Football exhibition in the city while also talking Dejan Lovren, centre halves and a great piece of journalism on Raheem Sterling.

  1. Here's a novel idea. How about supporters support players for once, rather than being hypercritical any time they make a mistake like they are the only players on the planet who ever make mistakes. Get behind players like Karius and Lovren, take the pressure off them by being supportive, after all that's the very nature of being a supporter.

  2. Given how well lovren played in the champions league final and World Cup games my opinion has changed about him and I’d be fine if it’s vvd and lovren starting next season

  3. The thing that was very apparent to me last night was the difference in quality between Dejan lovren and his counter part Nicolas otamendi… Who was praised endlessly last year and ended up getting named in the team of the year. I personally feel Dejan Lovren is one of the best at what he does, puts his body were it hurts, heads every thing in the air and be aggressive in the tackle. That's why the partnership between him and Vvd works. And let's be honest when he's really been called upon he's been there and came out on top 9/10. Maybe a criticism you can throw at him is that he plays with his heart more than his head but even then that can be one of his greatest strengths. I'm personally 100% behind Degsy Lovren… But would be absolutely over the moon if we where to sign Koulibaly this summer. YNWA. 😁

  4. I still felt Lovren is a weak link but the biggest worry is if Van Dyke got injured and that's why we need another quality
center back and there are decent one around Europe like Lenglet from Seville and in Germany there is Pavard ,
Upamecano ,Kehrer , and Gimenez from Athletico and all have reasonably priced buy out clauses.

  5. Sterling deserves all the harsh treatment he gets from the media. He was happy enough to cosy up to them when he wanted a move from Liverpool claiming that he "dreamed of playing for a great club like Arsenal". Now he can't cry when his close relationship with the media backfired. And before anybody says oooh he was badly advised he knew the correct way to leave a club but decided to do it the wrong way.

  6. Lovren is a good defender . A confidence player and the most important role is that he is Salah's best friend in the squad . Keeps Salah happy with us

  7. What Sterling is experiencing is basically the price of fame, all famous people get absolute rubbish written about them. The way he behaved towards the end of his career at Liverpool wasn't a great example of a person of good character. None of us should shed any tears that a millionaire footballer gets some negative press

  8. Thanks for sticking up for Dejan lads, I'm fed up with hater Liverpool 'supporters' who are at their happiest when verbally pissing all over Liverpool players.

  9. Seeing some of the styles of those kits it kinda makes me jealous. Considering the tecnological advances we've had and what we can do in terms of textile designs now a lot of kits just seem boring, plain, cookie cutter styles to me, seems like a waste, considering we could have so much more.

  10. Lovern has been great since the spurs game, I’m more than happy with him and VvD being our main CBs next season.
The media coverage around Sterling is bazaar, they can’t wait to knock him down . I’ll not stop booing him at Anfield but I have soften a little since reading all the crap about him and reading that article he wrote, anyway great video again Up the Reds

  11. If Fabinho can provide cover at RB if needed and considering we have Trent and Clyde couldn’t Gomez become our 3rd/4th choice CB?

  12. dejan lovren (Croatia ) all the former Yugoslavian players are Amazing on the ball (two footed). intelligent; space awareness )
he's a getting better . not as good baresi or costacurta, or 1 of those brilliant Italian defenders.
I'd like Klopp to buy a CB.
as well as a good keeper etc etc
