New Zealand are through to the final of Rugby League World Cup 2013 after beating hosts England thanks to a last-minute try at the end of an enthralling encounter at Wembley.

  4. I'm an Aussie but just quietly I wish the Poms made the final cause you would've given us a fight in the final. It's one of the best matches I've ever seen. Full credit to both teams.

    Scottish.  Valentine. Also in 1972 the Great Britain rugby League winning World
    Cup Captain side Welsh.

  8. They should've played this game last because the game after this was worse than watching paint dry. Best international game to date, followed by Kiwis vs Tonga but that was more for the atmosphere.

  9. I remember being in a Lodge at that time. It was 3am and I was watching the game in the main lounge with about 5 other people. 1 minute before the game finished they all left to go to bed. Then Shaun Johnson done Shaun Johnson things, and I was screaming out my seat. They all came back to see him kick the final goal and they were gutted they missed the final try. Good memories.

  10. Back in the era of the England team having as many loose forwards as possible. Not quite as bad as a few years before though
