Why would he join that aging decrepit club?
I think Sky is missing the point here. He is basically saying Liverpool only have a certain amount of cash available for the summer. So he is limited in who he can buy.

We won the Champions League Premier League.
We saved money on player acquisitions over the years.
We deserve to sign Bellingham
As I suspected, it is FSG, not Klopp, holding the club back. It is clear this iteration of players have had their day in the Sun, and we need a bit more of a clear out to get new players in.
I think we have a lot of players who unfortunately are doomed to be eternally injured: Oxlade-Chamberlain, Naby Keita, Arthur, Joe Gomez… they are in the club hoovering up wages without actually playing. Despite their quality when fit, these players need to be moved out so we can afford to bring some new players in (who will hopefully stay fit – questions need to be asked about the medical teams at Anfield too).
