As much as I would love Messi back, I don't really see it being a possibility, the club's wage bill is too big atm and they need to offload some players. Tactically I think it would be ok, Messi is still top quality, but the biggest benefit is likely psychological, it would bring so many fans back and media attention back to la liga. What Barcelona did to Messi was disgraceful and I hope him coming back will right those wrongs at least a little.

As a Barca fan who has watched every game this season we are in serious need of creativity and play making. In that department we are completely dependent on Pedri and Dembele. Messi could add that and goals.
It all comes down to the wage bill and FFP. But we need to sell some of our forwards anyway who are not producing enough this season. It’ll be a tall order for the board
Barça loves Messi. We want him back, the players want him back and Messi’s family prefers Barcelona over Paris. The only problem I see is how the relationship with Messi and Laporta can be mended. Let’s hope everybody can settle everything. There’s been rumours of a massive tribute for Messi at Camp Nou upon his return and Xavi’s CONSTANT contact with Messi. The desire for Messi is 100 at Barça. It’s just time to finish the deal!!

Strange though how he will leave with maybe 70-80 goal contributions, a few trophies and PSG will see it as a costly failure. Messi certainly didn't make the team any better.
