      If the entire team is going to crumble as soon as a player "wakes up" the opposition, then there is something fundamentally wrong with the mentality in the team. We should be able to withstand that pressure better.

      In the past we complained that our midfield was weak spineless but when our midfield has that, has the grit, the fire, people still complain leave him alone look at last year we lost 4-0 yeah it wasnt a 4-0 game, but we still lost, we have just come to anfield and got a 2-2 draw yeah we should have won but look how far we have come in 12 months some people need to open their eyes and see the bigger picture

      But the fact is we were absolutely dominating the game prior to the Xhaka incident. As said in the match commentary, when the anfield crowd are asleep, you don't wake them up. And Xhaka woke them up. Liverpool were a completely different team that 🤷

      There’s more brains in a gnat than in xhakas head. What he did is INDEFENSIBLE Robbie (how do people forget so easily this man has form!) WHEN City win the title remember THIS DAY! 😡 Cruising at 2 0 up and turned the place into a MORGUE and xhaka says, you know what, this is to easy, i will……………………! MUPPET! (and thats the politest term i can use!)🙄😠😔

      Garry Neville said it best, you don't wake anfield up when it's quiet.the game completely changed after the moment and arsenal became the worse team after playing so well .

      Robbie I respectfully disagree with you the team put the crowd out of the equation Xhaka brought them back and fired up the players as much as VAR cost us two points in the Brentford game Xhaka cost us two here

      FINALLY! Everyone is making that incident a bigger deal than it was. We needed to do better defensively and/or control the game by keeping the ball in the second half. We didn’t do either.

      Granit is a rock…doesn't hide from a fight or battle. He needs to channel his agro in the right way like he has this season. It's theaziest excuse to try and pin it in Xhaka. We just didn't settle in the second half we allowed Liverpool to run straight at us.

      It’s actually stupid to say Xhaka moved the crowd up and that’s why arsenal drew the game. WTF!!!.
      So if the crowd stood up and cheered Liverpool , arsenal WILL stop playing??. Come on y’all, stop sounding DUMB!!!.
      Xhaka is that guy, he gives your team that scare it needs to put some fear on the opponents.
      Liverpool has a good second half, but could only score 1 goal.
      Arsenal lost their 2 points from the bench, when Liverpool started putting ball jugglers in the midfield I knew it would be super hard for arsenal to cope, you need a Reiss, a Jorginho to come in, both of them, you no longer need a Jesus, a martinelli, it was time for them to come off. You needed bodies , strong athletic bodies in the middle to run 🏃‍♀️ around liverpool midfielders and delay them a bit. If arteta did those subs, arsenal would have slid one goal in the second half. The whole midfield line and attacking line collapsed

      It was stupidity from xhaka. We were in complete control and one moment of madness, wakens the players and the crowd. It’s no coincidence that we conceded right after. Complete stupidity from xhaka.

      Stupid to not think he was the reason the game turned. Xhaka's behaviour for a needless reason riled up the crowd thus flipping what was a dead Liverpool stadium to one that completely responded to it because he gave them reason to come alive! Liverpool were dead until that point and the game was only going one way!
      Xhaka has been excellent this season but 100% if he didn't do that with TAA we could've quite likely just walked away with 3 points. The game flipped from this point. It was the catalyst to galvanise their side. No denying it!

      No Don, it's not too harsh. It was his fault and he was being petulant with a needless and somewhat nasty challenge to Trent. Before then Liverpool were dead! I love Xhaka especially this season, but we should be able to say he was at fault and he was, it's that simple! Next weekend, we go again! He will learn.

      I mean, he almost his head. But I sympathize for him. Funny enough, literally SECONDS before that happened, Saka got fouled and play went on, so I said to myself….."here we go, the ref might as well give Klopp the whistle"….then Xhaka got fouled and play went on, THEN he almost lost his head.

      I think Xhaka is great but dealing with home team advantage is as much a part of the game as coping with things defensively as Robbie says. Up until that incident Liverpool were flat the home fans were flat and much longer at 2-0 they may have started booing them. A little naive to attach such little importance to a crowd’s ability to influence a match.

      I think the first goal is 100% on Xhaka, like when are we gonna learn our lesson about antagonizing the Kop? But the rest of the game was absolutely shambolic from everyone and the dropped points are not on Xhaka

      Player backing down and taking shoves off another player. It happened on the other end of the pitch so we should still be doing our job defensively
