Enrique for me, maybe JT added into backroom staff? A data driven recruitment policy with a clear tactical system should end up with the right players for ANY Manager, we have bought so many new toys for each Manager, we need another clearout for next one…
Honestly im not remotely worried about the ownership. It was always likely to be difficult at the start, took City years to get it right, yes Roman nailed it from day one but hes clearly not the norm. They are communicative, willing to spend and are willing to acknowledge their errors. We could be in such a worse situation right now, just have some patience and things will work out in the end.
Again, Potter wasn't really the issue. He had a squad too big and very little wiggle room to learn and to grow. He'll do better somewhere else. What our owners need to do is get rid of those who we do not want or need, get a manager in early, get a DM and a striker and let's cook. The squad is good if not a little squishy. Give someone who knows the club and can get the players cooking the armband too. Our players are a bit too nice and simply needs someone who will kick them up the behind from within their own ranks.
