Yeah we okayed good first half. Classic negative Southgate though I’m afraid. We played into our demise second half by sitting back snd trying to defend a 2/0 lead.
Arsenal Man City Madrid don’t do this they go for it and if we played more ti our posture attacking football we would have thrashed them 3 or 4/ 0.
Saying that I’m happy for Harry!!

Such a terrible manager, not only to start Maguire and Pickford but to keep Saka on and take Foden off who had only been on 5 minutes, terrible management. There are so many players that deserve to be there that haven’t even been picked all because Southgate loves his favourites, get him gone

Yet again, when the opponents took charge of the game & began to dominate, Southgate was unable to respond. Eventually, he made a like for like substitution, as if that would have changed the game.

2nd half was absolutely horrific. We were hanging on by a thread. We did next to nothing in the 2nd half and Italy battered us. Thank God we didn’t bottle it and all that matters is getting the 3pts
K. Phillips was absolutely shocking yesterday. How a guy that isn't getting any game time for his club can then walk into the England starting 11 is beyond me.
