Mukhtar Ali is an extremely talented box to box midfielder who plays for Chelsea U18, the U19 UEFA Youth League team and the U21 team. Last season, he helped the u18s win the FA Youth Cup and won the UEFA Youth League beating PSG in the final and claiming an assist.

Born in Somalia, he moved to England at a young age and was soon scouted by the Leyton Orient academy where he impressed enough to gain interest form London neighbours Chelsea who subsequently signed him. He has represented England at u17 and u18 level however still remains eligible for he country of his birth.

A technically gifted play who can pick out a defence splitting pass in the blink of an eye, he also has an eye for goal, scoring 6 goals as a defensive midfielder last season alone. He made his debut for the U18 as an U15 and scored 2 goals in his first season as well as impressing many with his leadership skills, despite his young age.
