    Joao Cancelo has made a deadline day move to Bayern Munich on loan from Manchester City.

    Speculation around his move has led some to believe that Cancelo fell out with the Man City boss, Pep Guardiola, causing him to spend less time on the field and more on the bench.

    Cancelo has made a statement saying that his move has nothing to do with the manager.

      I could see the unhappiness from your eyes, bro! You cannot hide it although you tried. There is no denying that city is now having a crisis of being lack of choices in both wingbacks. However, as a city fan, I believe we should give Pep and his team more time to go through this period of time which we haven't met for a long time in Priemer league. City should be the first to be concerned, Pep should be the biggest contributor for every year's title. I cannot deny that Cancelo had also dedicated a lot to Man city's victory in last season, but I prefer to trust the whole team instead of one single teammate. This thing definitely will hold every city player more intimately, giving them the pressure that City is no longer a European team "begging players to come" but a machine that can work without any minuscule component.

      He is going to be a great RB for Bayern … he and Davies can be offensive backs and cause more danger going forward which is what Bayern need now .

      Cancelo is actually the defender at City who has played the most this season and the last season, so thats BS excuse, and really pathetic behaviour. Look at stats below. What if every player was like that? In a big club like City he should know that you need to fight for your spot in the team and not just think you are better than anyone else and should automatically play all games. The games he has played after the WC he hasnt been very good, so all players needs rest from time to time. Instead of fighting for his spot he actually demands to be rented out if he isnt in the starting 11. Thats selfish. Seems like its a common thing among certain Portuguese players. They think they are bigger than the team.

      People have been talking about Pep letting Zinchenko leave for Arsenal….I think Pep wants to show us that he can also survive without a massive left back like Gancelo and still keep winning…..He's a mastermind and the ways he plays his cards in the world of football is astonishing….And I'm a Chelsea fan actually….

      Awful that He left . Although it’s only a loan for now, I’m positive that he will stay with Bayern .I have always wanted a Joao Cancelo City shirt .
