The PGA TOUR returns to Austin Country Club with a 64-player field now set for the World Golf Championships-Dell Technologies Match Play. Eight of the world’s top-nine players will tee it up, as Scottie Scheffler, Jon Rahm, Rory McIlroy, Patrick Cantlay, Max Homa, Xander Schauffele, Will Zalatoris and Viktor Hovland are all in the field. Scheffler, fresh off his win at THE PLAYERS Championship, returns as the defending champion. After successfully defending at the WM Phoenix Open in February, he will be hoping to continue his run of form with another successful title defence this week. Meanwhile, Min Woo Lee, who was in the group tied for sixth at TPC Sawgrass, is teeing it up on TOUR again. He was in the final pairing with Scheffler at THE PLAYERS and is inching closer to earning Special Temporary Membership while being firmly in the mix to earn a TOUR card via the DP World Tour Ranking at year’s end. 1. There is A LOT of comments about how much people are loving this format. I agree. I don't know why my brain went to this, but boy they missed out on the Olympics having this format. What a sick event it would have been to see bracket style golf for pride and country. Another match play event on the reg Tour would be welcomed too I think. Does any other Tour have one, maybe a Euro Tour or DP Tour event would draw big names

  2. I thought the PGA Tour had improved their highlights recently, but obviously the editor doesn't really understand either match play, or golf in general. Most of us could do better.

  3. so 2mins in and its quite clear that Sam wins as there's only been 1 shot from Cam shown. Bit of a joke showing all of the 3rd/4th place match and just Sam in this.

  4. The “Who gives a Sh!t” final. We could’ve had Scotty and Rory, instead we got the most boring final ever buy two of the most boring players ever.

  5. When are the pga going to learn how to edit a highlight package??? Could learn a lot from the major sports leagues who weave story and context into the highlight videos….

  6. Imagine a pga tour with a match play event season or combination of events to accumulate points for a end of the year payout? How exciting would that be for the fans! Match play is so much more exciting as a fan to watch thursday- Sunday.

  7. Very enjoyable, apart from the constant drone of the aeroplane circling the course of, so annoying, and begs the question, why doesn’t need an aeroplane in the first place what is it doing up there?

  8. HEY PGA TOUR THE NAMES ARE DUSTIN JOHNSON, IAN POULTER, AND BUBBA WATSON. SAY THEIR NAMES YOU PATHEITC PETULANT ABJECT LOSERS.

  9. I'm not surprised Sam just squashed Young in the finals after beating the number one ranked player in the semis. I Expect to see these two at the top on Sunday in two weeks!

  10. “Did that hit that gentleman?”
    “It didn’t”
Are these commentators blind it absolutely hit the dude
