We’re not getting back what we gave up to get him , what’s wrong with having Trey and Brock all season , it would cost a fraction of what it would take to get Lamar , And if we go out and get him, you can kiss Bosa goodbye , Darnold will provide depth , but we’ll need quality depth if we wanna make a run at this thing , I expect a trade up for a RT There should be a solid RT in the 2nd rd, plus another edge rusher

We can talk all we want and the bottom line is whether we trust what the higher ups are doing. Who would have thought that any team could dominate for a whole decade? 1980s Niners. Most teams are lucky just to dominate a few years. My point being in any major league sports you take a chance of losing a potential franchise player or holding onto a dud. Trade Trey. Dumb as dumb can be. He needs the time and experience to improve and Prove himself. Brock has earned the so called starting QB1 but his health is a huge question. Brock has a Noodle arm already and it can get worse which is scary. Keep all QBs and let things work themselves out. The cream will rise to the top.
Trey has almost no trade equity so u lose big. But if he can prove that he is a very good prospect then he will be worth much more. Keep all the kids and see how this works out

Sorry bro but being infatuated with anything is never good. What if there is a team willing to overpay on Lance because of the Lamar factor, and we close the door without even hearing the offer. Let's face it truth is we paid alot to get him when we didn't have a qb but it looks now that we've since found one even if he's out a few games tp start the year. If someone is willing to give us back what we paid for him over the next 2 or 3 years that's a lot of first round picks to consider and to just close the door is ridiculous. Evert professional knows they cam be traded at any time. Not saying I want to trade him but I definitely would if I could get a kings ransom cheers.

Purdy is our franchise QB. He has a spark that we haven’t seen in a while. He has clearly earned his spot.
I am sure Trey Lance is going to grow into a great QB, but he just isn’t there yet. He didn’t come pre seasoned like Purdy did.
I think Lance will get some more experience here and there this season as QB 2 and then we will trade him next year.
We found our guy and next we will just need to find some good backup QBs that can take the backseat to Purdy’s shine.
I have been a Niner fan since the early 80’s and Purdy gave us an amazing season last year. It was so exciting to experience.

This was generated by shows like yours and by fans hating on Trey. Under Lynch and Shanahan, there has never once been a straight-forward, honest answer to any personnel question ever asked. They are masters if misdirection. Plus, Lynch'es answer could be construed as "shutting" the door on Lance trade rumors. He put Trey in the same category as himself and Shanahan when it comes to possible trades. Do you think they intend to trade themselves? Hell no, so if they wouldn't allow a trade for Lynch or Shanahan, you could interpret this comment to mean they wouldn't trade Lance. Stop perpetuating this rumor for crying in the sink.
I, like many others, saw a starting quarterback in Brock Purdy. But a lot of people also saw a starting QB in Jimmy G. There are a lot of similarities between the two. Neither is particularly big or ultra athletic. Neither has a rocket arm. Both have intangibles like seeing the field, quick decision making and most importantly, being winners. Brock has better escapability and mid level running ability. He can also throw while rolling out. And so far he hasn't made bonehead decisions. That, in my opinion, makes him superior to Jimmy G. But Lance has not had the same chance as Jimmy, Brock or even Sam to start games. He is superior athletically to all of them, maybe all of them combined. We all are willing to give Brock the benefit of the doubt that he'll fully recover from the injury to his THROWING arm, but too many fans and shows like yours won't show any faith that Lance will recover from an an ankle injury that should not in any way effect his ability to throw or even to run. What gives? Purdy could be great, we've seen that. But "could" is the key word still. Lance could be even better, "could" being the key here too. Lance opens Shanahan's playbook even more than Purdy, the question is can he execute as well as we've seen Purdy execute. I, for one, would like to see a real, meaningful competition so we have the BEST QB we can have. Both are under contract for at least a couple of years. Both are cheap for a top flight QB. Just because Purdy is cheaper is no reason to throw away Lance.
Also people, use your heads for something other than a place to put your hat. It seems clear that Purdy won't be ready for game action for the first few games, perhaps up to 4. And that presupposes he recovers fully and on schedule, which should never be assumed. So you have a need for a QB during the first month of the season. Lance deserves and has earned the chance to be that QB. If he performs well he has some trade value, and if he plays really well he has good trade value. Right now he has NO trade value, so it would just be stupid to trade him during this off season. The 49ers are not a stupid organization. And if Lance plays out of his mind in September and shows himself to be superior to Purdy, you'll thank God we kept him. No matter what, the 49ers should keep Lance for this season to ensure they have a solid starter AND backup, regardless of which one of them starts. And if Brock comes back in October and is given the reins to the team, and keeps getting better, you trade Lance next year when his dead cap hit reduces by $10million. Right now that QB room of Purdy, Lance AND Darnold has a cost of only $13.2 million. Having that competent of a QB room for that cost is a steal! Oh ya, by the way, the 49ers will want all 3 of them on the roster after what happened last year. Never again will they go with just 2 QB on the active, game day roster. That's just another reason trading Lance now would be stupid and therefore not something the Niners would do. Why, because they are top tier!

When Trey got injured it was his bad decision calling and low football I Q according to the many critics, however when Brock was injured it was due to an inadequate offensive line according to the critics…..
