KDB is more of a 10 than an 8.
KDB and Modric play in different positions. There were games over the last two three years where KDB was playing as City’s #9. He’s more of an attacking mid and will thus lose the ball making risky passes. Modric is more of a holding midfielder and will pick the ball up off the central defenders and try to dictate the tempo dragging opposition players out of position and carrying his team up the pitch. Two very different players.

Kdb didn’t get hooked off against Madrid in the 1st leg last season? What’s this guy talking about? I remember he did a twitch for that game and said kdb was balling out. De Bruyne is one of the best passers that the game has ever seen but his not mobile enough to be considered world class. He doesn’t have the flare and the press resistance attributes that’s needed to sit at the same table as the greats. I’ll even take Fabregas over him. I’d take peak Mata over him
