  1. I think he stays. The biggest issue that you touched on is the wages. He’d have to take probably a 50%+ pay cut to fall within the limits of the clubs who may want him. I don’t see him doing that.

  2. Why would you set up a studio on the back of Manchester United’s success just to slag off the players including harry maguire. Maguire has done extremely well for United. Perhaps not good enough for the glory hunters though

  3. Wages alone are a big thing, if he's not gna be playing then it's money down the drain. We need a cohesive squad, and even though he may be well liked in the dressing room but it's not a lads club, it's a football club. We binned off that expensive dancing frog and look at the results this season. Thanks for everything Harry, but in you go.

  4. I think maguire probably goes down as the worst captain in Manchester United history. One of the slowest players I’ve ever witnessed play football and a mistake in him atleast once a game. The fact he takes the armband off Bruno every time he comes on even if it’s for ten mins says enough to me about his ego and how good he actually thinks he is.

  5. Because of the way he can at times he can carry the ball forward. What about trying him in CDM role. Fair enough needs to move more but could he do it 🤔

  6. Sorry but Harry is on the list of worst players I’ve seen at Utd in my life time with djemba djemba we need much better then Harry he’s not top 4 quality unfortunately

  7. Maguire's gotta go Ste. He'll be fine in a team that plays either 3 at the back or a deep line/low or mid block but you're spot on about his shortcomings. They're exactly everything you don't want in a high line. He's a pound shop John Terry.

  8. Honestly he looked lost in the last game , his brain is not as fast as Varane etc, and just wasn,t into the match as the other two are , I have nothing against Harry at all , it,s just not a great fit for us, I wish him all the best in the future..

  9. Harry Maguire was never worth 80 million. He was never captain material. He has declined with age. He is one of the problems in the team, probably one of the players, with pogba, because of which Ole was sacked. When he plays, he is one dimensional – just sees the ball, does not organize or inspire others or disciplines anyone. He isn't and never was a Man Utd captain… compare him to others like Keane, Rio, Vidic, Pallister… he comes out bad… really bad.

  10. Definitely up there in my 5 worst ever United signings. The price is a part of that. Also can’t stand that he feels the need to take every opportunity to remind us he is the club captain.

  11. The reason why it’s an achievement for Southgate is because England have won sod all since 66, have had much better squads than this current crop that have not even reached semis. Ole was at MANCHESTER UNITED a winning machine that were losing clutch matches under him. Stupid comparison and I actually think Ole did a decent job but united is not A losing machine like England. Southgate has given the likes of you the confidence to even believe England should be doing better. England is a losing country why do people think names on a paper mean anything. Do you know how hard it is to turn losing culture into winning culture.

  12. No! No! No! Hell No! There is no reason whatsoever why Harry Maguire as well as a handful of other shit/useless/below average players should still be at United beyond this summer. Harry Maguire particularly.

  13. Asked to keep only one of Maguire or Tuanzebe in the summer, I feel like Ten Hag could pick Axel. The fact that’s even a feasible thought tells you something about how people view Maguire at United.

  14. Harry does get on the end of set pieces… and has like, what, 2 goals from such situations in a United shirt?
Casemiro has more than that already, with a couple more ruled out for offside. If we've got a set piece, you look for Case's run. End of story.

  15. Maguire's error prone but crucially, he expends so much energy into arguing why he's got nothing to prove. A true leader, a Roy Keane etc, would know that if you need to argue your case, then you're probably full of shit. Keane never needed to defend his abilities but then, his abilities were never in doubt. Which is why he remains the benchmark for United captains.

  16. I appreciate what you did for Harry, but in no means should he stay . The fact that he's captain I believe is the reason ETH puts a effort into even playing him. It's like he's honoring the position or the role of the captaincy. I totally agree with you on his ability to scan a field and the ability to move his head from left to right and be comfortable with the art of running backwards or running and be able to focus on a different part of the field other than what you're running from. What I'm saying is his window is too small. What concerns me the most is not as much as his own field play it's his off the field decisions. Whatever happened in Greece I really don't want to speculate on. But the fact that he gives interviews and you are in a leadership position as a captain you say things like I don't have anything to prove I don't care if it's for the national team or for your club You're in a position of leadership. It's a bad example the things he says, it doesn't reflect a team first mentality, it's entitled and it's disturbing. I believe the last interview what he said was one of the most shocking things about his career, personally I felt it was worthy enough to lose your captaincy. Cuz everything he said goes against everything the boss says, or Roy Keane would do, or what Fergie would want from a leader It just goes against the DNA of Manchester United Football Club.. sorry I talked to eroff but when it comes to Harry I've lost patience and I'm just so happy that he is not guaranteed play every week because I personally believe seven to eight games lost or from his decisions. Love the content peace

  17. I disagree. He’s English so they’ve made him the club captain. I’ve seen zero leadership qualities. Fans watch games and don’t think they’re stupid.

  18. Spot on assessment. In the pool old days he'd be a sweeper where the game is in front of him. Bobby Moore and Beckenbauer were slow but read the game so well they made it look easy.. he's championship level at best.

  19. People don’t give ole enough credit. He deserved to get fired. But anyone who remembers the Moyes, Van Gal, and Mourinho days understands the adjustments he made. He is never a United manager but he’s better than those bums
