      There's got to be more than one leader/organiser in a team. Multiple voices at LFC on pitch. I would say it's the rest of the Dutch team that need to take responsibility now and then. What about when he's not playing?

      Just an adequate defender …. It’s not like he is Beckenbauer , Maldini , Ramos , Baresi , Hierro , Fachetti , Moore , Pujol, Nesta , Blanc , Desailly or , of all people , Gaetano Scirea. All of them 15 years or more world class level. VVD maybe three … of course most people would be clueless

      I really do not get why Milner screaming at Virgil for being slow to close is an argument that Virgil is not a leader. A leader is marked by being able to get other players' heads on right. Name one player who had a long successful career who never made a mistake.

      Leading by example is not how people should be judged as a leader. Leaders should lead by example but everyone who leads by example shouldn't be a leader.

      Danny mentioned Beckham, great example. When I think of leaders at Liverpool, I think of Henderson and Milner, maybe Robertson. The guy's who get into their teammates faces when things aren't going well.

      Murphy was a shiftless to$$er at Blackburn and stole a living. Why he's in any position to judge players, and why anyone wants that witless wonder as a pundit beggars belief.

      Danny Murphy is one of the worst football pundits I have ever heard or seen in my entire life. He was an extremely average player and as regards his Liverpool career??? What career?? He’s epitomizes the term ‘Muppet’😜

      Quite obvious… The injury, Age…. Its knocked him… He had three/four years in the Sun…. Came to the party bit late…. His body is now well&truly over the hill…
