  1. Henry has always been critical of Arteta … whenever he has commented on him he has been a detractor with comments like the FA cup win bought him some more time.

  2. Wengers film will only upset fans that think we should still be as good, Just remember what's happened since when the Kreonke Clan arrived

  3. Agreed ..let’s get behind the team ,what evidence have we that Henry despite bring a good player , is actually a half decent manager or authority and he is in the DE camp and wants a job I’m sick of grumpy ex players with an axe to grind ..Petit , Adams , Merson , Parlour …be quiet and support the team support Arteta

  4. There would be no timing that would be good, if he criticised during the first 3 games people would still be not happy with him for speaking up. So the Kevin Campbells and Wrightys can praise Arteta all the time, but Henry cannot give his opinion or has to be very careful of the timing? Henry has been critical of Arsenal in the past even before Arteta, during Wenger's reign. When have we become this fanbase where only unconditional positivity is tolerated?

  5. No direction mmmm maybe Henry needs to dig a bit deeper.
Under arteta we tackle less and commit more tackles before we receive a foul and more fouls before we receive a yellow. Since the second half of last season we have predominantly been very sound defensively. Going forward he knows what he wants he probably needs a new forward line just to give auba some back up and competition

  6. He may see the bench during the AFCON. Probably one of the cups if draws favourable this season will see him get some game time if arteta thinks he deserves it

  7. The truth is the truth !!! What difference does it make if and when it is said ? He was asked to assess the performance of the team and he gave his honest assessment of what's been going on. How people interpret that assessment or choose to listen to it is entirely up to the fans. Beating Spurs should have spur (no pun intended) this team on to give a performance against Brighton indicative of a team that just embarrassed their rivals. Instead it went back to sloppy, timid, and uninspired approach that's been going for over 2 years. Whether TH is speaking the truth to serve his own self interest is irrelevant. At end of the day, if what he said wasn't true, you wouldn't bother discussing it. Arsenal is a professional football club and people in charge of it should be able to handle any criticism without acting like a wounded puppy that needs to be treated with kid gloves.
