Playing at the Estadio Alvarve near Faro, both sides made a good start in what was an intense game.

Wolves took the lead when Ruben Neves converted a penalty after 15 minutes, but on the stroke of half-time Sporting were handed a spot-kick of their own.

Former Wolves winger Pedro Goncalves converted it in the last action of the half.

The second half was a cagey and fiery affair, with several bookings, but neither side could force through a winner as Wolves settled for a draw.

  1. Why waste time trying to get Nunes. He doesn't want to come to Wolves and is a glory hunter wanting to go to Liverpool, save the money and move onto somebody who is interested ffs, this is becoming a joke now, 1 week to go and no striker 🤬

  2. I have to wonder what Fosun's objective is….it seems like they're more interested in shirt sales rather than putting together a good team.Spending as little as possible on crap like Hwang and then overspending on shit like Silva isn't exactly sending out the right message to fans.
