  1. I really hope this does not happen. We will not grow anymore with him using these tatics and the squad selections are questionable too. He can be recognized for his past success without doubling down on him. Please do not enable the federation to do this again.

  2. I don't like how it went down for Berhalter either. I don't think it's fair that he'd be out on a technicality. But as an outsider/armchair analyst – he should be out based on Wales (really?), Iran and the Netherlands. And he should be out because the naivety happened on and off the field. For me, he could be a terrific US manager again in the future but he's barely had any time as a manager and might really benefit from the day-to-day of club management. He should also be out because it has only gotten WORSE for the US when you don't change managers after the Cup. In 2006, 3 and out. After 2010, there were disappointments. After 2014, didn't even qualify. AND… Arena was massive. Bradley got you into a FIFA final! Klinsmann was more checkered but did some incredible things too… including beating Ghana at least.

It's too bad for Berhalter – I think he'll do fine in MLS, and will have opportunities. But just because it would be more 'fair' to GGG doesn't necessarily mean it would not be good for the US side.

  3. Doesn't play his best players that's a major problem and he goes in with an attitude of "we CAN COMPETE LET'S COMPETE!" – What? Compete? How about dominating?! Weak systemic problem

  4. 0:02 Why I am unsubscribing. Absolute joker you are Alexi. Those players backing Greg, are backing him because he for some reason, picked them. Like all the MLS scrubs he played ahead of Gio and risked 4 years of sacrifice for. I'm sure Gio doesn't share your sentiment and last I checked he's on the team, you are a talking head. And the comment below by Mr. Crippen sums it well. Why you more concerned about Greg than the team? Because you are in the same fookin club.

  5. Alexi the shill c'mon man it's way too obvious now.

If GGG is so good then what happened to all that European Interest after the world cup?

  6. Gregg is the wrong coach for this pool of players. Alexi, you had said before that a coach should only stay for one cycle and be replaced.

  7. Alexi you my friend are insane… Is this not the most talented group of US player ever? Why not give them the best coach possible whatever the price tag. All i hear is "this is the most important WC cycle in US history" but you want to keep a mid level coach… Blows my mind. The trust has been broken between coach and players, the players won't say don't bring him back.. come on Alexi really your just nuts now my friend.. still love your show..

  8. GGG made horrible roster selection not one of the MLS feel good days contributed to the team and starting Ferreira over any other European based player was grounds for removal in itself.

  9. Luckily Alexi is not the new Director of US Soccer or yall will be screwed

His poor roster decisions, his poor man management especially of the Reyna Situation plus his lack of tactical awareness at the highest levels alone is the reason why he should not be back as the US team coach
