Salisu being out is a pity, the opportunity to see him potentially partner Djiku is gone now. Also both Aidoo and Djiku are on the shorter side for CBs so I doubt they would be partnered in defence. With Samed arriving late to training, I think it is a good opportunity to try a system that might suit players like Partey a bit better. We could structure the midfield a bit similar to how Arsenal do and introduce a pure 8 for once in Ashimeru. The likelihood of Chris Hughton dropping the captain is very low too, so I just hope he does the same as Steve Cooper and use him upfront in such a case. Otto Addo playing him in midfield did not pan out well at all. I hoping Paintsil gets the nod for this one, though if Jordan Ayew starts due to his work rate and industry along him playing in the EPL then it wouldn't surprise me.
