You've got 13 teams making the postseason. There are only 12 postseason spots. So the 'maybe' teams are actually 'absolutely not' and at least one 'postseason team' will not make the postseason, best case.

the angels actually have a solid rotation w sandoval detmers ohtani and now anderson. rendon looks amazing right now and the rest of their lineup is good. and they actually have some decent depth. so with all of that said. they are finishing w a 78-84 record lol

Mets are definitely contender if not playoff team. Their best players aren’t the best in the game while they barely have any depth, but the bullpen 🥵. And the rotation is verlander and scherzer and that’s it

Mariners regressing? Mitch Haniger was injured all season last year so Teoscar Hernandez is a huge upgrade at RF. We get a full season of Luis Castillo and a more experienced Gilbert/Kirby. Adam Frazier wasn’t very good for us last year either so getting Kolten Wong is a considerable upgrade. Also Julio is only going to get better. I believe a few Astros players also said that they were pretty confident that whoever won the series between the Mariners and the Astros was going to win the whole thing which is major props from a division rival.

mariners had a positive record on 5 (sdp 3-1, nym 2-1, nyy 4-2, atl 2-1, tor 6-2, hou 7-15, phi 1-2) of those top 7 teams in 2022. not saying they're definitely better than any of them but at the very least should be in the same tier as toronto. Dodgers and cards should probably move up a tier with them
