Time to strip him off his captaincy
Maguire is essentially incapable of playing any better, he is too slow mentally as well as physically, he lacks situational awareness. Southgate is one of the poorest England managers in some time. He is underachieving with the talent he has at his disposal. He is tactically inept and picks his favourites and never picks on form.

I never understood how or why Southgate was and is still in charge after the worst manegerial bottlings at the Euro final.
The way Maguire talks is as if he's trying to show elite mentality but he can't even see how bad it makes him look. He can't even reel off the number of trophies and ballon d'or's he's won, just the number of times he's played for Utd and England. The Glazers will be FORCED to sell because of rising interest rates. Keep in mind that interest rates have increased 2000 (two thousand) % since March of 2022…..and will continue to rise at least to the end of 2023. If the Glazers continue to hold out, their "equity" in the club will be seriously eroded and the selling price will favour the bidders. The Glazers on the other hand are playing the bidders for MU against the fans who wish for a completed transaction asap so that the team can be strengthened with summer transfer prior to the deadline. The lessons learned from overpriced tech acquisitions in the public markets during the 2000s is that high percentages of the prices paid were carried as "goodwill" on balance sheets…..and eventually written off. Bidders in a negotiation process need to know when to walk away. Fans may not appreciate this given their self-interests…..but this is all part of negotiating a deal that is in the best interests of all parties.😉😉😉
