  1. Cant stick out the knee…he knew it was out there and made no attempt to pull it back. Stuck it even further out to stop McDavid. Nurse shoulda given him a good crosscheck.

  2. Nurse was going to goon himself to cheap shot Robertson but Pavelski stepped right in to protect his linemate. And Benn also stepped in front and no one on the Oilers wants a piece of Benn

  3. Clearly it was unintentional, because with a knee on knee, both players could have sustained a serious knee injury. Highly doubt Robertson would risk his young promising career with an intentional knee on knee. McDavid should just stop whining. Every time he gets hits on his knees he cries. Giordano hit him twice on the knees and McDavid whined each time.

  4. 0:34 All you people saying "ROBERTSON DIDN'T MOVE MUCH AT ALL"… don't understand the logic behind these penalties. When a player dodges your upper body, you don't have a right to take out their legs as a last resort. Robertson CLEARLY missed making any form of upper body contact (which would have been legal), so out of desperation he tries to get a piece of McDavid by taking out his lower body. This is a penalty every time. It doesn't matter if you look like you're coasting in and "barely moving". That's like someone saying they're coasting in from center with their arms up in full cross checking position, then complaining about the penalty when they hit someone in the face.

  5. McDavid needs to calm the hell down and remember that hockey players get hit sometimes. It clearly wasn't intentional. Hope he doesn't turn into a Crosby.

  6. I like Robertson and it definitely wasn’t intentional. I like Mcdavid being a vet and going to talk to him instead of hands going and a brawl on the ice. If it was a 30+ year old edler then punches would be flying

  7. It’s intentional absolutely, can’t just let Connor whip by ya without at least trying to get in the way! …Connor knows this and gets the power play….standard stuff with Mcdavid

  8. So what's McDavid going to do.nothing that's what.where is the backup.they let someone knee their star and nothing gets done .NPHL. national pussy hockey league.must have been pride night

  9. Robertson has his knee extended. It may have been reactionary to how quick McDavid is, but it's a clear intended knee and 'you can't do that'. Reckless play needs to be made an example of more than the 2 minutes for 'tripping'. 2 games suspension should send a message.

  10. I'm a product of a time when hockey brawls were a thing. But I'm way over that.
Having said that, Nurse should have sent a clear message and laid Robertson out.
Yes, it was a deliberate knee-on-knee to the best player on the planet… but I would apply the same logic to any player getting that kind of disrespect. He needed to eat knuckles for that hit.

If the league won't let the players settle it (and they won't)… then they have to take this out of the game. Make it a 5-minute major and game misconduct. This crap should NOT be part of the game… that is, if the league REALLY wants to protect its players (and stars).

  11. Seriously??? If it were intentional – McDavid would be OUT OF THE GAME OR MORE!! Shut up McDavid! You're not winning the Cup & Robo's still a youngster. You've been around & no he didn't mean to injure you're dumb *ss

  12. Robo never changed his stance & wasn't even looking of McDumb*ss!! This isn't dirty or intentional so get over it! Otherwise, he would've left on a stretcher!
