As a Mongolian who used to live in Melbourne, Australia and play football there, I can assure you that Tim Cahill is the most monumental footballer I've ever witnessed in Aus football history. He literally carried his team so many times in major tournaments and he got his reward. He put Australian football on the map and it's safe to say that I'm very proud of him and how gives the motivation to fight to the next generation of footballers. I know that Australians don't really fancy world football because they have their own version (Aus Rules) but I believe that football is prospering in the continent down under and one day Australia will be world title contenders, a team to reckon with.
