Hopefully board told them to stick to basics (sit deep, counter well, press from the front) and a set first 11 for the next three games at a bare minimum.. that’s the only way Potter gets through the next month with his reputation in tact.
Not totally against Lukaku coming back, and really, we may not have a choice. Perhaps Potter being more of a people person and a different system would allow him to work better, especially if Inter doesn't want to bring him back. A little humble pie can do wonders.

I don't understand that panicking from Chelsea fans. What is going to happen if we loose against Tottenham and Leeds? Nothing major, football club in transition and rebuilding process will loose few more games. Chelsea fans become addicted of sacking managers. Boehly have desire to change club drastically. To change clubs culture. If he sack Potter it will be seen as continuity of Abramovich style of running football club. Boehly decided to go his own way and while we are going to avoid relegation battle, he is not going to sack Potter.

I did post previously that I thought we should move on from Kante.

However I've changed my mind. Taking into account we now have Enzo in midfield, I'm hoping they can form a great partnership. In my head they are a dream partnership, so I'm really looking forward to see them play together.
I'd rather have my balls nailed to a plank of wood & bolted to push bike heading for the White Cliff's of Dover than watch Lukaku put back on a Chelsea shirt.
When someone shows you who they are…believe them. At Brighton Potter went from January to April winning once. His Brighton team had trouble scoring…but now after losing players and signing a new manager mid season…with the same excuses that apply to Potter at Chelsea being his circumstance too sans the £300mill outlay. This guy sucks. Get rid NOW. In January…if we had beaten the relegation threatened teams and beaten Fulham just once outta the two then we'd be on 40 points…2 points off top 4.
Even with all the change at the club Potter is underperforming, the record is not acceptable for the amount of talent around Cobham.

I like this crop of Chelsea fans. The ones who aren’t super reactive. If you look at teams such as Liverpool, Arsenal, City and United, they’ve all gone thru extensive periods where they were shocking just like we are rn which eventually led to a rebuild followed by success as some point. We’re going thru the same thing rn but these fans who are conditioned for quick success can’t see the long term.
