ESPN FC’s Alejandro Moreno, Dan Thomas, Gab Marcotti and Shaka Hislop discuss the recent anti-racism tributes made in the Bundesliga over the recent gameweek, including sides like Borussia Dortmund, Bayern Munich, Hertha Berlin, Schalke, Union Berlin, Werder Bremen, Wolfsburg and Mainz midfielder Pierre Kunde. The panel praise the teams and the league for following the lead that players like Jadon Sancho, Marcus Thuram, Weston McKennie and Achraf Hakimi showed in the previous week, and hope that further support and action will come when other leagues return.

  1. They can't be for the human rights of black people in Western countries and then go ahead and play the World Cup in a disgusting country like Qatar without seeming like huge hypocrites. I guess Arab lives don't matter? Unless they're rich, of course.

  2. It’s sad that movements start. But then get forgotten – but those that are suffering can’t forget. For them it’s life.
Remember when Tyrone Mings got abused. No one mentions it anymore
Sad hope this time change happens

  3. I've been saying that during these kneelings and protests. This is just a public relations stunt by these teams. Let's see these teams start hiring more black managers. Let's see players talk about things going on in China, Africa, the Middle East, etc. They won't because it'll no longer be convenient.

  4. I am ashamed of those who claim to understand what BLM means and make all sorts of comments and assumptions. please educate yourselves. BLM is much more than the narrative mainstream media is selling to us. Knowledge is power.

  5. People are literally saying "stop killing us" and there are people saying but… 🤦‍♂️. People need to educate themselves before making false assumptions on BLM.
