He is no better than Partey and would say Partey is 30 40% better and cost 45m . Problem with Rice is that he is English which bumps the price massively up and all the papers + fans believe he's the next big thing. If you have good scouts you will pick up a player of the same quality in another country for around 20 30m depending on league and team. He'd be reasonable value because of age and quality around 50m and that's with the over inflated prices. I honestly think people are just closing their eyes and hitting buttons on a calculator sometimes and I'm an Arsenal fan and would like him to come but if we paid more than 70m would be disgusted. Don't know what about 8m would equate to now but Gilberto Silva cost that and if Declan Rice goes onto be as good and successful as he did I will eat my shoe.
If you don't think he's worth 120 million don't pay the money then and he stays at West ham win win

I dont think he was overrated a year ago, he looked like the best English cm we had. Then Bellingham exploded and that is what a £100m midfielder looks like.

Rice is a good midfielder but because he's English the media think he's 100m plus. Average champions league midfielder. Nowhere near Scholes, Keane, Modric, Lamps, Steve G, Keane.

Rice is a good player not a great player. He could play for any of the top teams but in no way shape or form is he a 100 million player. 65-70 million max. I understand West Ham having their price but no-one is paying that.
