We did start the game unbelievable but our finishing was powder puff again. We come up against a great Man Utd team and I'm proud we got to a cup final and tried to win. We are massively ahead of schedule and with a few good additions in the summer, success may follow. Disappointed but proud. π€π€

Really proud of the players, fans and whole club. Didn't expect to make a cup final so soon but we gave it our best, just lacked the clinical touch and class that Man Utd had in key moments. The squad and players will be better for the experience and Howe will help them learn and grow for their next chance. Howay the lads!

I though Shaw defended this man perfectly today, myself and most Manchester United fans saw him as nufcβs biggest threat before the game, i think he leads the league in chances created which is amazing for a defender, his crossing is exceptional.

Burns really played very well
Unbelievable is a reach. Newcastle were obviously up for it and played well up to a point, but I think they played right into man utd's hands. It was perfect game management from Ten Hag and his generals on the pitch. Bearing in mind that Newcastle have played 3 matches since the semi-final, and Man Utd have played 6, including 2 matches against Barcelona, Newcastle were always going to be more energetic. But I think winning experience told in the end. Both with the players and the managers. Every period of the game seemed perfectly orchestrated by Ten Hag. He played Dalot who would contribute more in attack, but struggled against Saint-Maximin. At 2-0 up, ETH made the switch to Wan-Bissaka to stop Newcastle from getting an early goal in the second half, and targeting Dalot. Casemiro basically started the second half as a 3rd CB, again to prevent an early response. The game was filled with these moments that may not look impressive in isolation, but shows you who really came to win. Finals are not usually high scoring.

Newcastle have become a little bit too predictable just like we were when Bruce was in . Thats because These lads have taken lots of clog from every team in the league .and that means the injuries take longer to repair and we limp a little longer. . But we're safe for this season. Perhaps we jumped a little too fast this year after all we don't have the luxury of a big squad. But if you want to mix it with the big lads it's what you go through for success. .the process has started I can't see any way but forward
