He adds a calming influence to the midfield. He is a top player there’s a reason he’s been starting at Juventus. Him and Adams can form a really strong partnership over time imo.

man firpo had the best game in a leeds top for the past 2 seasons and we dont get to see his highlights, slightly disappointed but dont get me wrong Mckennie also played very good as well. keep it up.
He seemed to pop off more towards the end of the match when Roca came on. Prolly get more out of him if they stop playing him out of position. He isn't a 6. More of an 8/10 hybrid. Definitely more comfortable higher up the pitch where he can get into the attack more consistently.
I wouldn’t say he was superb. He was solid, what I expect coming from Juventus……

I’m sorry, but I am old enough to remember players who I don’t yet see in McKennie. He’s not Collins, Giles, Billy, McAlister, Speed, Batty, even Vinnie Jones. I’m looking forward to seeing him create that kind of status.

Wes is the quintessential American player today imo. He ain’t blowing you out of the water, but he does the simple things well and has a good feel for the game. A multi-sport athlete growing up and you can see him applying what he learned from other sports on the pitch. On top of that, he’s confident enough to try some stuff every once in a while and although it doesn’t always work, he tries and brings a different dimension because he can pull some tricks out of the bag.

Needs to build more confidence in the attack , coaching staff needs to work on his shooting.
What I liked most about this performance was his confidence on the ball and ability to find teammates in tight spaces. Dude can deliver a great ball.
The thing that drove me insane about Leeds play before was, for lack of a better term, boingy boingy ball. They just kept knocking the ball in the air over and over. McKennie takes the damn ball down and controls it, then gets it to teammates. Hopefully that'll rub off.
Wish he would gone to Fulham instead .. I can’t stand Leeds fans on social media. Dudes think Leeds is some superior 8 time champion league winners. Like please, Leeds as a team is just average.
